Kitchen Renovation

Shortly after the New Year of 2009, we decided to start tearing down the old kitchen! After we had torn down the first few cabinets and left some gaping holes in our drywall, there was no turning back. We were committed to a full-out renovation. This lead to removing a wall, moving a door, installing a new window and stripping down the kitchen to studs. Once we were down to the "bare bones" we began rebuilding. Having removed the wall between the kitchen and the dining room, we were able to completely change the layout of the kitchen. The sink, fridge, stove and dishwasher were all relocated. Electrical rewiring, plumbing, drywall, new cabinets and granite and finally hardwood flooring completed and created the space we had a vision for 1/2 year ago. It was a huge job, but we are very thankful and are loving our new kitchen.
